KYN28A-12型铠装移开式交流金属封闭开关设备，是在吸收国内外先进制造技术的基础上自行开发设计的新型产品，适用于3.6-12KV三相交流50Hz单母线分段系统的成套配电装置，主要用于发电厂、工矿企事业配电及电力系统二次配电、送电及大型高压电动机的启动等，对其实行控制、保护、监测之用。开关柜满足IEC60298、GB3906等标准要求，具有防止带负荷推拉断路器手车、防止误分误合断路器、防止接地开关处在闭合位置时关合断路器、防止误入带电隔室、防止带电时误合接地开关的联锁功能，可配用VS1及VD4真空断路器；是3-10KV高压开关设备的主流产品，主要用于中心配电室和较重要的用电单位的末端配电室。

开关设备的外壳选用敷铝锌薄钢板经CNC机床加工，采取多重折边工艺，板式结构，无焊组合工艺。精度高，抗腐蚀与抗氧化作用强，机械强度高、外形美观，通用性强。柜体采用组装式结构，用铆螺母和高强度的螺栓联接而成。加工生产周期短、零部件通用性强、占地面积小。表面无须进行酸洗、磷化等化学处理过程，生产过程环保无污染。
柜体设母线室，开关室、仪表室、小母线室、电缆室等间隔，各隔室相对独立，互不影响，关键部位设有观察窗，顶部各室设有泄压装置，发生电气事故时可从顶部有效泄压，保护操作人员。联锁机构确保各隔室之间的操作符合安全性和程序性要求，安全性极高。开关、隔离手车，PT手车采用抽出式安装方式，通过轨道、活门机构、动静触头与主母线进行联结和分离，高压柜在运行中可移出需检修部位的小车进行检修作业，不影响正常回路的运行；采用模块化设计思想，相同规格的开关或PT具有完全的互换性，可靠性高。
开关设备由柜体和中置可抽出部件(即手车)两大部分组成。柜体分四个单独的隔室，外壳防护等级为IP4X，各小室间和断路器室门打开时防护等级为IP2X。具有架空进出线、电缆进出线及其它功能方案，经排列、组合后能成为各种方案形式的配电装置。

Interlocking mechanism to ensure that the operation between the compartments meet the safety and procedural requirements, high safety. Switch and isolation handcart, PT handcart adopts extraction installation mode to connect and separate with main bus line through track, valve mechanism, dynamic and static contact. During operation, the high-voltage cabinet can be moved out of the car in need of maintenance for maintenance operation without affecting the operation of normal circuit. Adopting the modular design idea, the switch or PT of the same specification has complete interchangeability and high reliability.
