HXGN15-12型交流金属封闭环网开关设备，是一种经济适用型的高压开关设备，在供电系统中作为开断负荷电流和短路电流之用，适用于交流3-10KV、50Hz的配电系统中，作为环网供电单元和终端设备，起着电能的分配、控制和保护作用，主要用于一般民用中心配电室和末端配电室，既可装于室内配电室中，也可预装在箱式变电站中。
本公司开发的系列通用环网柜型可配用真空断路器、集成了隔离开关和接地开关的组合式真空断路器、压气式负荷开关、压气式组合电器、真空负荷开关、真空负荷组合电器、接地开关及隔离开关、SF6负荷开关、SF6组合电器等，从功能上可组成辅助进线柜、母联柜、真空断路器进出线柜、压气式负荷开关进出线柜、真空负荷开关进出线柜、SF6负荷开关进出线柜、计量柜、PT柜等，并能任意联合组屏，具有高度的通用性和广泛的适用性，成套性强、体积小、联锁可靠，符合GB3906《3-35KV交流金属封闭开关设备》、IEC60420《高压交流负荷开关-熔断器组合电器》标准的规定，外形尺寸符合重庆市电力公司环网柜技术条件规定的标准尺寸。
